We have always known for a fact that cats are smart, and this is clearly demonstrated in the video below, titled ‘Kido’s First Shell Game’.
It shows a cat named ‘Kido’ playing a shell game with his owner.
After each round, Kido was able to successfully guess which shell the bell was under.
According to the video’s description, Kido was abandoned twice by two different families and was about to be put down before being adopted by his owner.
“The main purpose of sharing this video is not to show how smart Kido is, but to share my joy of knowing that Kido was willing to play shell game with me and he got it right, regardless of how he did it,” the owner wrote. “If you are a pet owner, you know how hard it is to get them to do something, especially on the first time (without previous training).”
