Artist Digitally Constructs Surreal-Looking Structures In His Photographs

Cape Town-based creative director Justin Plunkett has digitally constructed fictional architecture in his own photographs.

Calling it ‘Con/Struct’, the series of imaginative photos contain surreal-looking buildings, some of which seem to defy gravity by floating.

According to Plunkett, he hopes to “encourage questioning and exploration” through his work, and depicts how “marketing-induced aspiration and perceived value can empower but can also corrupt”.
