Rob Beschizza of Boing Boing found a copy of an old book that shows you how an early computer worked.
Simply titled How It Works: The Computer, this book was first published in 1971 by Ladybird. It is a throwback to a time when computers first emerged, and serves to remind us of how technology has developed since then.
The book is divided into different sections—it introduces the reader to computers, how each part functions, and even includes an explanation of how information can be stored on magnetic surfaces.
