If you have always wanted to build yourself a mobile home on wheels, you can probably learn a lot from Ryan Lovelace, who has converted a 1948 Chevy bus into a lovely and cozy residence.
After buying the charming vintage vehicle off Craigslist, Lovelace spent about two years renovating the interior of the bus, fitting it with furniture, a wood stove and even a small kitchen—he has also taken the time to decorate this tiny home with potted plants, to bring some greenery into it.
In addition to lining the inside of the bus with wood paneling that was formerly used in the house of director George Lucas, Lovelace has built himself a wooden loft—called a “sleeping pod”—at the upper back portion of the bus. Its large window provide him with a fantastic view of the surrounding scenery.
