The website Mashable has curated a list of awesome female superheroes that we should know about.
The list includes well-known characters from both DC and Marvel universes, including Ms Marvel, Storm, and Batgirl—but did you know there is a hijab-wearing superheroine by the name of Dust?
Although many of these superheroines are of European descent, we hope that we will see more racial diversity in the years to come.
