Greek artist Stefanos has been modifying Euro banknotes and using them for almost a year.
For his project titled Euro banknotes bombing, he adds human figures to the lifeless environments of the banknotes, turning them into scenes that reflect the economic and social instability in Greece.
Stefanos explains that by using the European banknotes, which are in cross-border circulation, he is able "to 'bomb' public property from the comfort of [his] home".
