Art director Bebe Leone has created a creative on-going project on her Instagram account, titled ‘#MyHeritageAndI’.
Together with photographer Filippo Avandero, they recreated iconic portraits of celebrities posing together with their families and pets, by carefully selecting the models, costumes, and locations that would give a contemporary look to these vintage portraits.
The idea of the project was to portray playful family stories, hence the characters were styled with witty humor and seen striking unusual and irreverent postures. Bebe explained to BoredPanda that she wanted “to show that a certain ‘joie de vivre’ brings together, despite time lapses and generational gaps”.
