Infographic: Why Do People Get Visual Hallucinations?





Have you ever seen something from the corner of your eye, but checked again and it was not there?



Simply put, a hallucination is "the perception of something that is not actually there". The following infographic explains how visual hallucinations begin in the brain and the three different types of disturbances that can cause them.
