Swiss watchmaker Swatch is planning to debut its first smartwatch in the next two to three months, making it a possible competitor to the Apple Watch that will be released in April 2015.
Unlike most smartwatches, Swatch’s new device “won’t have to be charged” before connecting to the Internet, giving it a possibly huge advantage in the smartwatch market.
The new Swatch smartwatch, compatible with both Windows and Android software, also lets users make mobile payments.
