BuzzFeed explored the diverse traditions of beauty by getting three woman from different cultural backgrounds to participate in a makeover experiment that would make them look like historical figures.
These women's hair and makeup looks are inspired by their individual ethnicities, namely Indian, Irish-English-Scottish, and Chinese.
When they saw the results for the first time, they commented that they are pleasantly surprised by the makeovers.
