A Coffee Cup You Can Eat

Venezuelan designer Enrique Luis Sardi created a coffee cup you can completely eat, for Italian coffee brand Lavazza.

Called the ‘Cookie Cup’, the edible coffee cup is made of pastry that has an interior covered in special icing sugar—which, according to Sardi, works as an insulator to make the cup waterproof, and as a sweetener for the coffee at the same time.

Users can “sip the coffee then eat the cup”, Sardi wrote.

With this sweet cookie treat that comes with a coffee, coffee drinkers save on disposable coffee cups and reduce carbon footprint.
