Mexican artist Rodolfo Loaiza toys around with pop culture, fashion, animation, horror films and celebrity to create mash-ups that you can’t take your eyes off.
In his series ‘Disasterland’, Loaiza explores what would happen to our favourite fairytale characters if they were flesh and blood and confronted with the frenetic and the excessive world of fame.
Fairytale characters meet horror film killers and even tabloids of famous stars—to find out who among them would prove susceptible to the excesses of drugs, alcohol, harassment or vanity.
