As a way for Dutch people to score tickets to the London Olympics, Volkswagen—with the help of creative agency Achtung Netherlands—created a ‘scream/sound-powered’ car.

Using ‘orange-motion technology’, the special edition Volkswagen has a decibel recorder linked to its accelerator—its foot pedals were removed, and its engine CPU re-configured to translate sound decibels into RPMs to power the car.

Every cheer, noise, or scream helped to increase the power and speed of the car—the car also had a speed limit of 30km per hour.

The most fanatic and loud Dutch Olympic team supporters to make the car move the fastest in a 100m-sprint with their cheers, got to win tickets to the Olympics.
