Designer Jonathan Cohen has created an app that tracks our moods through our activities and our emotions at a particular moment.
Called ‘Expereal’, the app is built "to serve as an emotional-mental complement to the 'quantified self’ tools like Fitbit and Nike Fuelband and Jawbone UP."
The user- friendly app allows one to record our feelings by giving a scale of 1 to 10, visualised as a watercolored inkblot.
Users can also add a label that indicates their whereabouts and accompaniment, as well as a photograph pertaining to the situation.
Cohen created this app because he was curious to see if it was beneficial to people, instead of encouraging neurotic self-consciousness.
