A couple of Arizona-based young film-makers—Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta—have recreated Pixar’s beloved animated feature Toy Story as a live-action film with real toys.
Conceived as an attempt to gain access to the Pixar Animation Studios in Northern California—a longtime dream of the duo—the 80-minute long, shot-for-shot clip matched every scene and dialogue from the animated flick to perfection.
The attention to detail is impressive—Pauley and Perrotta have not only re-created some of the toy characters that are not available in stores, but the sets as well, including a “Pizza Planet” replica.
