Portugal-based design and architecture studio LIKEarchitects has created a stunning LED installation for IKEA.
Located at the Centro Cultural de Belem in Lisbon, the installation titled ‘LEDscape’ is made with 1,200 LEDARE light bulbs affixed to HEMMA floor lamp bases.
LEDscape presents an interactive playground for visitors to explore as they walk through the illuminated maze.
According to co-founding architects DiogoAguiar and Teresa Otto, this labyrinth of lights was designed to exemplify the beautiful eminence of LED technology and its abilities as a sustainable product.
The installation lights up the night and pulses at different rhythms—creating a magical experience with its creative radiant composition.
