Taiwanese artist Chen Forng-Shern took grains of rice as his canvas for his stunning miniature artworks.
It took several months for the self-taught artist to complete a single grain using a magnifying glass.
Since the art of miniature is disappearing and there are no masters for Chen to learn from, Chen had not only learnt to develop his own tools and techniques but also create his own style.
Although the process can be painstaking and time-consuming, all is worthwhile for Chen as he slowly brings out amazing tiny pieces of art to admire.
