LOL: Due To GPS Error, Woman Drives For 900 Miles Instead of 90

A 67-year-old woman by the name of Sabine Moreau drove for 900 miles, instead of 90—over the course of two days—thanks to a GPS error and her ‘complete lack of attention’.

Moreau started her journey in her home town of Hainault Erquelinnes, Belgium, with the intention of picking her friend at a train station 93 miles from her home.

However, when she turned on her GPS navigational device, it instructed her to drive south, all the way down to Zagreb in Croatia.

During her two-day 900 mile journey, she stopped for gas twice, slept for a few hours on the roadside, and even suffered a minor car accident.

According to Gizmodo, this is what she said, “I was distracted, so I kept driving. I saw all kinds of traffic signs, first in French, then German and finally in Croatian, but I kept driving because I was distracted. Suddenly, I appeared in Zagreb and I realized I wasn’t in Belgium anymore.”

Maybe she was using Apple Maps?
