Istanbul-based photographer Gokhun Guneyhan has created a series of travel images that mix photography and typography to great effect—by juxtaposing typographic elements over the photographs, he is able to really bring out the personalities of the pictured locations.
Featuring some of the most picturesque cities and places in Europe—including Amsterdam, Paris and Prague—the photographer took care to match each location to a typographic style that is truly evocative of the physical place.
We think that these images will make for beautiful, unconventional postcards—view more of Guneyhan’s typographic series below and on his Tumblr page.
