Polaroid has just unveiled the world’s first Android camera with interchangeable lens at CES in Las Vegas, the latest development in its march into the digital age.
Running on Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean”, the iM1836 18 megapixel camera—which comes with 10-30mm zoom lens and a 3.5 inch LCD touch screen—is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled, allowing users to edit and share their photographs.

Despite the considerable clout that Polaroid wields in the world of photography, its latest products have been greeted with rather negative reviews on the internet—The Verge has even gone so far as to call the iM1836 “a hollow, plastic, inoperative piece of landfill debris”.
