The Netherlands-based architects MAKS together with Pang Architects have designed a 150m-long table for Hong Kong’s Chinese University Library.
To cater to students’ different ways of studying and interaction, the ultra-long table has varying heights and widths—and offers a space for activities, such as meetings, individual studying, or reading.
Furthermore, it meanders throughout the floor and dodges the pillars, to use the space in the library to its optimum.
