To discourage the use of plastic bags, creative agency Mother London created a range of carrier bags with “embarrassing motifs”—as a follow up to its first series launched in 2005.
The ‘Uncarriable Carrier Bags’ are marked with eye-catching designs that make its users look as if they’re carrying around explosives, weapons, drug-taking equipment, and sex toys.
The bags aim to bring shame to those toting them around, and bring home the message that plastic bags are almost just as evil as the objects they adorn, but in a different way—and that shoppers should really think of whether they need a bag before requesting one.
