One of the most popular hashtags on Instagram is #nofilter, where users display photos without the addition of filters
However, not everyone is honest about not using filters, so a website titled Filter Fakers has been created to expose these filter frauds.
Filter Fakers automatically searches for Instagram photos tagged with #nofilter and tests it for filter use. Photos that are caught to be faking are posted onto the website along with the name of the filter used and the user who posted it.
The website even allows submissions if you suspect a friend of being a ‘faker’ and has a ‘Filter Guide’ that shows you what each Instagram filter does.
