Amazing Architectural Structures Made From Chewing Gum

French artist Jeremy Laffon creates amazing architectural sculptures using sticks of chewing gum.

Titled ‘Holywoodoscopies’, the elaborate and complex minty structures look structurally unsound due to the nature of the gum.

Laffon even applies heat to the structures to start a slow process of collapse in his work.

Laffon’s pieces “channels elements of ambivalence, the ephemeral and metamorphosis through a visual dialogue only able to be generated by the unusual substance it is made from.”
