It’s amazing what a little color can do. On his website Colorized History, Denmark-based artist Mads Madsen colorizes old, black and white photos, giving them an injection of life and vibrance.
Madsen’s visually arresting images draw the viewer deeper in to the photo to relive the past.
Some of the photos look surprisingly modern when colorized, and it’s easy to imagine being right there when the photo was taken.
