To create more awareness of what dishes can be made from mayonnaise, mayonnaise brand Hellmann’s created a special grocery cart that gives shoppers recipe ideas.
The ‘Hellmann’s Recipe Cart’ is a cart that has a touchscreen tablet installed on it.
While users shopping for their next meal, the shopping cart would be able to detect the products near it—such as vegetables, meat and fish (via RFID tags)—and be able to show users new recipes they can try out, made with those ingredients and mayonnaise.
The clever shopping cart also has a interactive map, so users can find all ingredients they need within the supermarket.
