Comfy-Looking Chairs Made Of Old Airplane Parts

You probably remember MotoArt’s desks that are made out of vintage airplane parts.

To complete your furniture collection, and further bring what you usually experience in the air to the ground, the California-based design company also made a series of seatings.

The modern-looking seats, chairs and barstools are newly upholstered and restored ejection chairs and navigator chairs taken from old aircrafts, such as the B-52, C-130 and F-4—there’s also an old First Class couple seat from a Boeing 747 in Motoart’s collection, which comes with its own telephone, television and lighting.

Perfect for airplane aficionados who have desk jobs—in MotoArt’s words—the chairs are a “virtual escape from the gravity of an ordinary executive environment”.

The downside is that you can’t use them to escape and ‘eject’ from a brutal office meeting or workload.
