In his ‘Epic Pukes’ series, Venezuelan graphic designer Pablo Iranzo’s simply takes black and white photos of famous musicians and illustrates cartoon-like, neon colored vomit spewing from their mouths.
Perhaps it is an indictment against the quality of music produced by today’s pop acts. Or it could be nostalgia for a rawer, grittier sort of music.
Whatever it is, Iranzo’s work possesses a slightly off-putting yet strangely captivating charm.
