Photoshop can accomplish wondrous things and brings to life almost anything that the mind can imagine.
Yet what exists in real life, especially things that occur naturally in nature, never fails to amaze just as much, if not more.
In the Gansu province of China, lies the Zhangye Danxia Landform. It consists of mountainous valleys and peaks that is uniquely streaked with a multitude of awe-inspiring colors that are all naturally occurring.
Formed by a process called 'petrographic geomorphology', whereby natural elements meld together as a result of rain, wind erosion, oxidation, this amazing phenomenon reportedly takes about 24,000,000 years to take place.
The landform has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site so that the generations that come after us will have the chance to enjoy one of nature's masterpieces, just as we do.
