At the Nike Innovation Summit at Portland, Oregon this week, the sportswear giant introduces the colorful and intriguing Nike Free Flyknit running shoes.
Featurng a knitted one-piece upper, these shoes have stretchy openings that allow you to put them on like socks and are designed to firmly secure the runner’s foot to the shoe platform.
According to Sean McDowell, creative director of Nike, “this shoe feels so light and so well cushioned it's as close to running in a sock as you can get - so to your mind your feet feel 'free' - but it also provides all the support you need”.
