Logo of the beer named after the royal baby
To mark the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first child, McMullen Brewery has released a special beer.
Entitled ‘Heir Raiser’, the ale is described as a “light colored, crisp refreshing pint with a light, hoppy finish,” Fergus McMullen, production and sales director, told The Drinks Business.
Unfortunately, Prince George Alexander Louis has still many years to go before he can legally taste the drink that was named after him, as it contains 4% alcohol by volume.
The special ale was also given a logo (seen above), of a stork flying in the royal child.
Part of the Hertford, England-based brewery’s seasonal brews, ‘Heir Raiser’ is available at the pub ‘Duchess of Cambridge’ in Windsor.
Do you think it would have been more apt if the beer’s logo were blue instead of pink?
