Hong Kong-based Muku Labs has created the world’s first wireless, remote-controlled shutter release for the cameras of iOS and certain Android devices.

Unlike other similar products on the market, the Muku Shuttr does not require users to install a third party app or use a plug-in cable—it connects via Bluetooth and would be able to trigger the camera shutter from 30 feet away.

In just 3 days, its campaign has reached the funding goal on Kickstarter—however, you will still be able to get a Muku Shuttr delivered to you by October 2013 for just US$30, if you pledge for the project now.
