Portland-based photographer Foster Huntington started a blog called ‘The Burning House’, in which he collects images of belongings that people would bring with them if their house were on fire.
This thought-provoking project aims to highlight ‘the conflict between practical, valuable and sentimental’—forcing readers to reflect on their personal interest and priorities.
Huntington has recently released a book based on his blog and it can be purchased here for US$11.41.
Which leaves us to wonder—what belongings would you save if the house were on fire?
