French designers Jesse Lucas, Erwan Raguenes and YRO have developed a record player that is capable of turning drawings into music.
Called ‘Dyskograf’, it is equipped with a high-speed camera that scans the disc as it spins—translating any drawings into sound based on their marked location.
Users are invited to create their own musical tracks by drawing on the disc with felt tip pens.
The result is a disc that plays a different track each time someone draws on it.
