HEINEKEN’s ‘Reinvent The Draught Beer Experience’ Has A Winner

The HEINEKEN Ideas Brewery global draught beer challenge has announced its winner.

After two days of workshop in Amsterdam, the six finalists enhanced their ideas with HEINEKEN experts, consumers and bartenders.

Following a constructive, heated debate among the members of the Official Jury, the Jury’s winning pick for the ‘Reinvent the Draught Beer Experience’ challenge is: Flavors of the World Skimmer, by Albert Soler Mas (Spain).

The Flavors of the World Skimmer lets users add flavors to a beer’s foam—enhancing the draught beer experience.

By dipping the foam with the skimmers—that have been pre-infused with flavors, which could range from Lime Chilli to Turkish Curry and Red Fruits—the flavors would be retained in the foam down till the last sip.

This way, beer lovers can get a newly-flavored beer each time they get their drink on.

Founder and director of DesignTAXI, Alex Goh, was part of the HEINEKEN Ideas Brwery judging panel.
