Japan Airlines Adds KFC To Its In-Flight Menu

Japan Airlines (JAL)—in collaboration with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)—will be introducing the fast food chain’s signature fried chicken to its in-flight menu.

Available from 1 December 2012 to 28 February 2013, passengers travelling in Premium Economy and Economy Class from Narita to New York, Boston, Chicago, L.A., San Diego, London, Paris and Frankfurt, will be served KFC’s ‘Original Recipe’ two-piece chicken meal.

The meal will include one drumstick, one boneless chicken breast fillet, a piece of flat bread, a cup of coleslaw and lettuce leaves.

According to a press release, the meal will be served in an exclusive packaging created by both companies—featuring the airline and KFC’s Colonel Sanders on a special box and tray mat.
