LEGO fans, how would you like to own what is probably the world’s most expensive LEGO brick?
Weighing 25.65g of 14-karat gold, this incredibly rare brick was only given out, once or twice a year from 1979-1981, to selected business partners and LEGO employees who had 25 years of employment in a brick factory in Germany.
It has the same measurements as the original 2x4 LEGO brick, and comes with a display box that features the LEGO logo of the time that it was presented.
BrickEnvy—an online store that sells collector LEGO sets and pieces—is currently selling this golden piece at a whopping US$14,450—a steep price to many, unless you happen to be a die-hard LEGO fanatic.
