Florida-based Mexican artist Cristiam Ramos has created a series of celebrity portraits using only edible candies.
Each of these portraits uses approximately 5,000 sweets to create—using easily-available sweets like gummy bears, licorice, M&M’s, bubblegum and after-dinner mints.
Immortalizing famous people in delicious sweetness, Ramos’ portraits could sell for up to US$18,000, depending on the size of the portraits and amount of candies used.
Featuring celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Marilyn Monroe, it is amazing that not a single lick of paint has been used in the making of these portraits.
