South Korean tech company Samsung is planning to offer the world’s most flexible phone, with an aim to start mass-producing “bendable smartphone screens” by the first half of 2013, according to Wall Street Journal.
The flexible displays for mobile devices will be made of plastic, rather than glass, and will be unbreakable, lighter and bendable.
Currently, the foldable phones are in its last phase of development—exactly when they would be released is yet to be confirmed.
Will flexible phones be the next big thing?
