In an attempt to increase Gmail’s user-friendliness, the Google team has started testing a series of experience-enhancing features on the popular email service platform.
The new features focus specifically on making it easier for users to compose and reply emails.
Enabling users to more easily refer old emails and monitor incoming mail, the new “compose” feature will open in a pop-up window that overlay the main inbox—much like a chat, only larger.
Other new functions include the ability to drag and drop contacts—now complete with profile pictures—in recipient tabs.
Would you like to see these features to become permanent on Gmail?
