A 72 year old man in China found himself to be an internet sensation after he started modeling women’s clothes from his grand-daughter’s online store for fun.
Accessorizing himself with with a pair of aviator sunglasses, Liu Xianping pulled off with the clothing—designed for teenage girls—with much panache.
A refreshing change from the regular pretty, perfectly groomed models typically used for such fashion shoots, people are responding exceptionally well to this cool, “drag-queen” grandfather.
In Liu’s words: “Modelling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy.”
Since he started modeling for the web-store, sales has increased five-fold.
