Here is a new innovative way to donate to charity—simply drag an unwanted app into the “Donation Box” app and Apple will donate the cost of the donated app to the Salvation Army.

Developed by a group of advertising students who conceived of it after being cooped up indoors during Superstorm Sandy, Donation Box is a great way to do good while getting rid of apps you no longer use.

Unfortunately, this app is not real—yet.

The team behind this awesome app has produced a slick and professional promotion video, hoping to sending a message to Apple about its own immense philanthropic potential.

This will definitely be a great way to de-clutter your digital life and help someone in need at the same time.
