Photographer Captures Panoramic Views Along The 40th Parallel

Massachusetts-based photographer Bruce Myren trekked across the USA along the 40th degree of latitude—also known as the 40th Parallel—and created a series of panoramic images to document what he saw.

Stretching from New Jersey in the East to California in the West, the 40th Parallel is said to play an integral role in America’s geographical and social history of settlement.

Stopping at 52 strategic points along the line—including the 50 longitudinal intersections and the two coastal points—the photographer will shoot a single panorama consisting of three photographs at each location.

Having already successfully shot 28 out of the 52 stops, help Myren complete his epic project by contributing to his Kickstarter campaign.
