Latvian architecture firm NRJA designed a concept lakeside residence for long summers.
The two-story house, called ‘Floating Barn’, features living spaces, a bathroom and a small deck on the first floor; and a sleeping area on its second floor.
According to Inhabitat, the house has a “pontoon base” that features “storage tanks for clean water, filtered graywater and fuel”.
This could make for new living spaces, or a new type of chalet to spend your vacation in the future—what do you think?
