Canadian artist James Nizam has created stunning natural light sculptures in the rooms of an abandoned property in Delta, Canada for his project “Trace Heavens”.
He lets sunlight into the rooms by drilling holes and gaps in the house—using small mirrors attached to ball joints, he then bounces the sunbeams around the rooms to make various geometric patterns.
The sunbeams were reflected multiple times before they became too faint to be seen—the resulting light sculptures are captured with a large format camera.
