What if Shakespeare wrote ‘Star Wars’?

Intrigued, Oregon-based Ian Doescher decided to combine George Lucas’ sci-fi classic with the language of the late literary genius.

Titled ‘William Shakespeare’s Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope’, the book sublimely retells the movie in Shakespearean—from “the saga of a wise knight and an evil lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age”, the book “abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare’s greatest plays,” according to a statement.

William Shakespeare’s Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope retails at US$12 and is available on Amazon.
