New York City’s PBS station Thirteen believes that the state of television programming today is abysmal.

To prove their point, they rolled out a series of advertisements for ridiculous, fake reality TV shows such as ‘Married to a Mime’, ‘Knitting Wars’ and ‘Clam Kings’, created by ad agency CHI & Partners NY.

Although the premise of the fake TV shows are ludicrous, they are still, sadly, quite believable.

Each ad says, “The fact that you thought this was a real show says a lot about the state of TV” before asking you to “support quality programming”.
