For many people, LEGO is not just a child’s toy, but also an artistic medium that is filled with possibilities.
LEGO artist Mike Doyle has teamed up with No Starch Press to publish a 280-page book that collects about 400 photographs of amazing LEGO artworks from over 70 artists.
Reflecting popular culture’s love for these little colourful plastic bricks, the sculptural pieces featured in Beautiful LEGO are wonderfully diverse and range from “incredibly lifelike replicas of everyday objects and famous monuments to imaginative renderings of spaceships, mansions, and mythical creatures”.
While the book will only be available in October 2013, you can pre-order it now on Amazon.
