Naps have its pros and cons, depending on the time of day you take it, and how long you nap.

The Wall Street Journal has created an infographic with the help of Remie Geoffroi that highlights useful information about nap-taking.

10 to 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes—different nap durations have different effects, such as helping you remember facts better, or improved creativity.

According to the infographic, those who have conditions such as insomnia and sleep apnea are not recommended to nap as well.

To avoid oversleeping or falling into a deep sleep, experts have also advised to nap sitting slightly upright.

This infographic would come in handy to those who wish to achieve a desired outcome of a nap.
