The beautiful blue and green water cascading off the southwestern tip of the island nation of Mauritius may give off the impression of an underwater waterfall, but it is actually an illusion created by an overflow of sand and silt deposits.
Though unreal, it nevertheless makes for a magical and breathtaking view when seen from above, and can even be viewed on Google Maps.
